2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

When you visit our website, technical access data is automatically collected (e.g. IP address, time of access, page visited). This data is used solely to ensure the technical operation of the website and is deleted after 30 days.

3. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email (info@soveris.de), we process the data you provide (e.g. your name, email address and the content of your message) to handle and respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We do not share this data with third parties and delete it once your inquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Waitlist (Newsletter Sign-up)

If you join our waitlist, we process your email address for the purpose of informing you about the launch of Soveris and access to the service. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Sign-up uses a double opt-in procedure: after you enter your email address, we send you a confirmation email. Your address is only added to the waitlist once you click the confirmation link it contains. If you do not confirm, the provisional entry is automatically deleted after 30 days.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@soveris.de. Following withdrawal — or at the latest when the service launches and the corresponding notification has been sent — we delete your email address from the waitlist.

To send and manage the waitlist we use EmailOctopus (Octopus Group Ltd., United Kingdom) as a processor. Data is stored on servers within the EU (AWS, Ireland). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. For the transfer to the United Kingdom we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.

To protect the form against automated abuse (spam) we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile checks whether the input comes from a human without setting cookies or creating a user profile. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare; the transfer to the US is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Cookies

Our website uses a functional cookie to store your theme preference (light/dark mode). No tracking cookies or third-party cookies are used.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. For details on data processing by Vercel, please refer to their privacy policy.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object and the right to data portability. Please contact us at info@soveris.de.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements.
